June Experiential Psychodrama Workshop (2 days), Sydney
Psychodrama awakens and strengthens people’s ability to express themselves responsively and creatively in all aspects of their lives. In this workshop you will be enter into the psychodrama process, with a focus on what matters to you in your life - perhaps you want to bring more vitality and flow into your work and relationships; break through old patterns of behaviour and create new responses; or develop a specific aspect of your functioning.
Immersion in experiential workshops is an essential component of psychodrama training – for people new to the method and for experienced trainees. You integrate a deeper understanding of psychodrama as a group method, the warm-up process, the selection of protagonists, dramatic enactments and sharing and integration. You experience the personal and interpersonal development that can emerge from psychodrama, and attend to the areas of your own development that will support you in your work with people and promote greater life satisfaction.
The group is limited to 12 so that each person will have an opportunity to focus on what matters to them.
Previous experience is not required. If you have not experienced psychodrama before, our policy is to conduct an interview by phone to clarify your pupose in attending and make sure that the workshop is suitable for you.

The Psychodramatic Method
The method assists participants to increase their spontaneity and creativity through active participation and is likely to lead to increasing abilities in relating to others.
The course will consist of enactment, group participation and discussion. Participants are expected to be actively involved, on both days. At times, the learning of new skills may be emotionally challenging.
The hours are recognised by Sydney Campus as part of prerequisite experience prior to psychodrama training.
