Psychodrama Training and Development
Extended Weekend Workshop 28 - 30 March 2025
THE SCOPE AND FOUNDATIONS OF PSYCHODRAMA
This training will assist par.cipants in developing leadership abili.es in all situa.ons and to
integrate learning done in the group to their daily life – work, play and rela.onships – with a view
to increasing their capacity to rise crea.vely to life’s challenges.
Learning to apply the systemic ac.on process known as the psychodrama method is grounded in
workshop events and par.cipants’ interests.
Being a par.cipant you can expect to be ac.vely involved, have fun, and work hard as you enact
scenes from life and imagina.on with the guidance of the director. People meet in depth by
assis.ng in one-another’s dramas and the group life. Ac.on is involving and teaches new life-skills.
This program is designed for professional people at all levels who are involved in health, theatre,
management, leadership, consultancies, educa.on, coaching, mentoring, supervision, art, wri.ng,
teaching, human poten.al and crea.ve therapies. The process will assist in the deepening of
abili.es to step into the shoes of others and this will contribute to the effec.veness of those who
are therapists, counsellors, psychotherapists, health workers, managers, trainers and educators,
actors, ar.sts, writers and poets.
The course will consist of enactment, group par.cipa.on and discussion. Par.cipants are expected
to be ac.vely involved. The learning of new abili.es may be emo.onally challenging and
par.cipants are required to be able to sustain their life and be par.cipa.ng in areas such as
studies, employment and social and crea.ve ac.vi.es.
A cer.ficate of aGendance will be given on request and may be used for points towards required
professional development and psychodrama cer.fica.on. The training hours are recognised by
