2025 Psychodrama Training - Core Learning

Training Standards.

This training is designed in accordance with the Training & Standards Manual as set out by Australian & Aotearoa New Zealand Psychodrama Association Inc. (AANZPA Inc.) Board of Examiners. Training hours are accredited with Psychodrama Australia Perth Campus towards accreditation. 

Venue: North Perth Lesser Hal, 22 View Street, North Perth - except May 24/25 Venue to be advised

Themes Semester One

Moreno’s Philosophy and Psychodrama Core Methodology: including Role Theory, Social & Cultural Atom, Role Training and developing your ‘Psychodramatist’ Identity.

Weekend Training Dates: March 8/9; April 12/13; May 24/25*; June 14/15

Including:

Hours: Sat 9:30-4:30pm; Sun 9:30-12:30pm (*Sun 9:30-4:00pm when Visiting Trainer)

Advanced Development: Sun 1:30-4pm (Except when Visiting Trainer)

Reflective Processing: March, Tues 11th; April Mon 14th; May Tues 29th; June Mon 16th’ 6pm-9pm – includes reflection, discussion, writing, theory presentations

Themes Semester Two

Developing Systems thinking, Sociometry, Sociodrama and Group Work Leadership; including Creative Producing of Sociodrama, in exploration of Sociometry’s range of methods and measures, and in Group Work.

Weekend Training Dates: July 19/20*, Aug 9/10, Sept 12/15, Oct 18/19

Including:

Hours: Sat 9:30-4:30pm; Sun 9:30-12:30pm (*Sun 9:30-4:00pm when Visiting Trainer)

Advanced Development: Sun 1:30-4pm (Except: Sept Mon 15th’ 6pm-9pm and when Visiting Trainer)

Reflective Processing: Aug Tues 12th; Oct Thurs 23rd – 6-9pm includes reflection, discussion, writing,

Training Application and Commitments.

Applications for Enrolment are now open and each applicant will be required to complete an interview before confirmation of enrolment. Each Trainee will be required to have a negotiated and signed Training Agreement.

ENROLLED TRAINEES ARE ASKED TO COMMIT TO FULL YEAR AND IF POSSIBLE PAY IN ADVANCE OR BY PAYMENT PLAN,

FEES – payments must be received before your Enrolment is Confirmed

 

Core Training for Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Trainees

7 core TRAINING workshops + Training Reflective Processing Sessions 3hr    $2,800  I.E Full Year training Total   

Discount of Full Year if Paid before 1 March $2,600.

 

Advanced Trainees

Advanced Development: Prep for Thesis and Certification 7 Sessions – each $50, or Total  $350

 

Contact Helen for Other Discounts or payment plans to be applied for and paid/first payment before 1 March.

 

All Trainees will be required to complete a Training Agreement including a commitment to Supervision which is a separate payment to Supervisor.

 

Trainees can choose to attend individual TRAINING workshops – Commitment and Payment at least 14 days  before each workshop.

Enrolment Policy

Enrolment requires written application With Name, contact details and payment.

 

Enrolment is Confirmed on Payment of Fee at least 14 days before the event date.

 

 

Places cannot be guaranteed unless enrolment confirmed.

Payments must be paid two weeks before the start day of a workshop.

 

 

Any concerns or requests for discount fees must be made direct to the trainers as early as possible.

 

Refund Policy

Full Refund only available if trainers notified at least 2 weeks before the event.

 

 

Otherwise, Partial Refund minus admin fee of 15%

 

 

Refunds on Compassionate grounds are at the discretion of Perth Campus staff.

Perth Campus (PC) is the Regional Western Australian learning and training campus for Psychodrama Australia (PA) which is Accredited by the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Psychodrama Association (AANZPA.) Board of Examiners to undertake training level articulated in the AANZPA Training & Standards Manual.
