About the weekend

The methodology will be the psychodrama action method, which exemplifies experiential adult learning with extensive supervised practice to integrate
theory into practice. Participants will be encouraged to bring forward specific concerns that have emerged during the course, and in life. The course will involve developing new points of views and action, with respect to one's professional and personal life, and this will have an emotional impact. In the course of the explorations and expression participants are always in charge of the level of interaction and self-disclosure. The act of enrolling is taken as an indication that the applicant's understanding is that such explorations are part of the workshop. The leaders will demonstrate and teach in working with participants at their own level and interest. For further information about psychodrama please visit our Frequently Asked Questions or contact us using the form above.

A contract between the Psychodrama Australia Adelaide Campus and participants will be signed with each participant. Some have already done this and that conttract continues to apply. A generic version of this contract can be found in our Important Documents, above, or by clicking here. Applicants new to the Psychodrama Australia Adelaide Campus are required to meet with staff to determine the match between their goals and the workshop.

Hours are accredited by the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Psychodrama Association, Inc. (AANZPA), and count towards practitioner certification by that body. Further information about psychodrama in Australia and New Zealand may be found through links on the web site www.aanzpa.org
